Ipswich Town V MK Dons 21st August

If you’ve been lucky enough to get football tickets to Ipswich Town V MK Dons this weekend – you’ll probably need somewhere to park!

Haven’t booked your tickets yet?

Ipswich Town FC have announced this match will no longer be an all-ticket match and supporters will be able to buy tickets right up until kick-off. Please be aware, supporters aged 11 and over are required to provide proof of an NHS negative lateral flow test OR full vaccination before they’re able to enter the stadium. Find the full details in their news announcement.

While Ipswich’s Portman Road Stadium might have great football, they don’t have an official car park! Located only 7 minutes walk, our Ipswich car park is the perfect place to park up before the game.

We offer Ipswich match day parking for just £4.50!

Whether you’re supporting the home team or travelling to lend some extra cheers to MK Dons, you won’t find a more conveniently located car park in Ipswich.

After the match, why not explore Ipswich Waterfront? Surrounding the arena, this area is a vibrant place filled with food, drinks and even live music and entertainment! With waterfront bistros, quirky independent places and pubs, you’ll be spoiled for choice.

You can guarantee a parking spot by pre-booking with RingGo. RingGo allows you to book, and pay, from your phone or computer. No need to make sure you have change or worrying if your parking card is visible! If you fancy staying longer in Ipswich, you can easily extend your parking time from your phone as well.

It’s an excellent way to kick off the weekend and with Green Parking, it won’t break the bank either!

Green Parking In The News Helping To Make Parking Greener

A big thank you to British Parking for featuring us in the news for our participation in the Park Active scheme!

Below are some great tips from our director Neil Edwards on how car parks can make successful use of the ‘park active’ scheme. It’s always exciting to have our hard work recognised! So far, our work with the Park Active Initiative has been hugely successful and helped encouraged lots of people to up their daily step count and use of public transport.

We’ve loved being part of the Park Active Scheme, and we’re going to be trying it out in our new Luton car park. We’re especially excited about trialling it in Luton as our car park is only a short taxi ride from the airport so it’s perfect for Luton Airport parking and is just off the M1 so a great meeting spot for remote teams.

What is the Park Active Scheme?

You can find more information on our Park Active Initiative Page but at its essence, it’s about encouraging people to make their journeys more environmentally friendly! Rather than driving all the way to your final destination, whether that’s the shops or work, parking further away and completing the journey via:

  • Foot
  • Bicycle
  • E-scooter
  • Public transport

Not only does parking further away help the environment, but it also helps congestion in cities, making them a more pleasant place to work and shop!

Which Green Parking car parks are part of the Park Active Initiative?

Of course, many of our car parks are also conveniently located near train stations and tube stations, like our Hammersmith parking. While they’re not officially part of the scheme, they are still great spots to park a little further out, add some steps to your day and help reduce traffic congestion
