Supported by James Holroyd and 2manydjs

James Holroyd is a household name in the Manchester and Leeds clubbing scene. Having been resident at the UK’s longest running night, Back 2 Basics. James started plying his trade back in 1991 in the heady days of the original Basics at Leeds’ Music Factory.  Then was asked again when Basics relaunched in ’98 at the Mint Club alongside DJs such as Ralph Lawson. Basics recently celebrated 23 years in the game and James is still a resident regularly appearing and bringing his inimitable flavour.

In that time, he also became resident at another seminal night in the UK’s club scene – Bugged Out! Still going strong today, 20 years on, Bugged Out! has hosted pretty much every top act from Daft Punk to Green Velvet to The Chemical Brothers. James is Bugged Out’s original resident and features at the Bugged Out weekender taking place in January 2015.

The legendary 2manydjs, a project by the brothers behind Soulwax, David and Stephen Dewaele, have been pushing the boundaries of electronic music since 1995 as djs (2manydjs), they have become icons of electronic music. They’ve released stellar remixes for the likes of Tame Impala, Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, and Daft Punk.  Their 2002 2manydjs album As Heard On Radio Soulwax Pt 2 set a template for remixing followed by imitators ever since.  They’ve toured extensively across the globe throughout it all, returning with their first Soulwax album in many years with 2017’s From Deewee. In 2018 they brought us another LP, Essential, created specifically for their BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.
