November 2nd
The Sugababes are the most successful British female group of the 21st century! This is their first UK tour in over 2 decades and they will be performing on the 2nd of November at the Eventim Apollo.
November 10th
Britain’s Got Talent 2022 winner, comedian, Axel Blake, has a new show and will be performing at the Eventim Apollo on November 10th.
November 14th
On November 14th, award-winning writer and comedian, adam Kay, brings his show to the Eventim Apollo. This is a live comedy show with brand new stories from his newest book, Undoctored.
24th, 25th and 26th November
The award-winning, Irish post-punk band, Fontaines D.C. will be taking over Eventim Apollo as part of their UK and Ireland tour from the 24th to 26th of November.
27th November
Initially, due to take place on the 22nd of September, this show has now been rescheduled to the 27th of November. The dancehall legend and well-loved “king of the dancehall”, Beenie Man brings his show to the Eventim Apollo this November.

With the games in full swing, it is a good idea to prepare yourself before you make the exciting journey to see who will be bringing home the gold medals this year!
As you are probably aware, there are travel restrictions in place in and around the locations of any of the events taking place. There is no parking at or near venues other than the limited pre-bookable spaces for blue badge holders. Every ticket to the game, allows access to public transport around the area, making it the best way to travel to and from the games.
If you’re planning to drive to Birmingham, our Digbeth Car Park is available and is in a great location. There is a Park & Ride shuttle bus service which you should book beforehand!
All of the venues do offer secure cycle parking so if you’re cycling down, there is plenty of space for your bicycle.
If you already have your tickets, ensure they are downloaded on your phone. Alternatively, you can print your copy and have it to hand when requested. Please note, that the lead booker must bring ID and the entire party must enter the venue together. It might be the last day, but there are still some tickets available! Find yours here.
As you can imagine, with so many people excited to come and see the variety of different events taking place, it can get extremely busy and queues are very likely. Most venues open 90 mins before the start of an event, offering you the opportunity to take your time to appreciate the space, atmosphere and venue before settling into your seat.
Did you know that there are specific things you can and can’t bring with you to any of the Commonwealth Games? There is also a limit on the size of the bags you can take with you, it should not exceed 25 litres or be bigger than 50Hx30Wx20D, you must also be able to open it at any point for inspection.
Please also note there is a very specific list of prohibited items you can’t bring in with you, including offensive weapons, fireworks, alcohol, laser pointers, drones and many more. The extensive list can be found on the website. Other items are restricted and have a limit on how much you can carry at any event.

This week, we saw the Cinch Tennis Championship, which is currently held at The Queens Tennis Club. Here is a quick round of the week!
The cinch championship consists of 5 drawers: men’s singles, men’s wheelchair singles, men’s doubles, men’s doubles qualifying and men’s qualifying.
This consisted of 4 matches, with Caspar Ruud of Norway taking on Ryan Peniston of Great Britain. Peniston beat Ruud to move forward to the next round with 98 points won. The second round 1 match was Francisco Cerundolo versus Pedro Martinez and Cerundolo won to move into round 2 to play against Peniston. The 3rd round 1 match was Jenson Brooksby vs Flip Krajinovic, in which Krajinovic moved into the second round. Sam Querrey took on Diego Schwartzman and Querrey took on Kraijnovic.
Ryan Peniston beat Francisco Cerundolo to proceed to the quarter-finals against Flip Krajinovic who beat Sam Querrey in round 2. Jack Draper played against Emil Ruusuvuori, where Ruusuvuori won and moved into the next round against Marin Cilic, who beat Alexander Bublik.
